Can we let you into a little secret….? Seeing you, our clients, is our absolute favourite part of hairdressing and we’re so proud to be Cupar’s go-to salon.
But when we’re not behind the chair, we’re out in the wider world of hairdressing, getting involved in some seriously exciting creative projects.
We believe the shoots, competitions, events and editorial styling we do outside the salon make us even better hairdressers inside it.
So here’s a behind the scenes peek at some the rest of our hairdressing lives:
Photo Shoots
We’re the vivid colour experts in Fife, thanks in part to the amazing Elumen colour we use, and also because we never stop exploring and experimenting creatively.
You might’ve seen some of our past shoots on the website. We’re not allowed to share the latest one just yet (watch this space!) – but we can tell you we worked with top hairdressing photographer Liam Oakes, and it’s honestly our best one yet.
New York Fashion Week
Talk about a ‘pinch me’ moment, when Alex was asked to work behind the scenes as a hairstylist for a runway show. It was fast-paced, frenetic and so much FUN!
Even better, the look we were creating was such a pretty curl, which is right in our comfort zone.

What a buzz being a guest artist at Goldwell’s Celebration of Colour! These are the nights when the hair world comes together to get inspired by the boldest names in the business – and as a Global Creative Awards winner, it was a huge honour to be up there showing off our colour work.

Sometimes it feels like the big awards are only for the big-name salons in the big cities. So when our little Cupar salon gets recognised? It’s a pretty amazing feeling. Here we are flying the flag for Fife at the Salon Awards.
